Since 2024, Andréév has been at the heart of importing French artisanal know-how to Bulgaria's craftsman community. Working by the core principles of luxury - heritage, savoir faire, and authenticity, Stéphane called the project zéné lyondéva, in the name of his grandmother, as the grandmother archetype is an integral element in Bulgarian and Balkan tradition and culture.
zéné lyondéva project
zéné lyondéva explores the condition of Bulgarian artisanship and, consequently, its part of the European heritage, while trying to import artisanal skills into Bulgaria and cultivate young craftsmen. This initiative is done to sustain the longstanding and rich tradition of Bulgaria's craftsmen and create new opportunities for them to adapt to today's market.
talent scouting & craftsman training
Andréév managed to successfully scout a talented young Bulgarian traditional shoemaker and sponsor his education in producing handmade bespoke shoes with a Massaro-experienced professor, to expand the workforce and the qualification of the young artisan. Making him the only Bulgarian who possesses this unique skillset.
